Drug Free Bodybuilding















This summer was another monumental point in the Thomas Story.
He went from 110 kilos to a ripped 88 kilos this summer,
6 kilos more than last summer, with an obvious increase
in Muscle size and density.

Drug Free training: Yes you can!!!!!
There is so much talk about drug training these days in Norway that people seem to forget that it really is possible to get great gains without drugs. Thomas’s story is one of the best examples I have seen in my years of training bodybuilders.
With Thomas and the others we train at Lund we use the old tried and proven way to gain muscle size and weight, take it one step at a time.
Most guys don’t really think they can get bigger, so step one is gain the weight, that could be 5 kilos or 20 kilos depending on what your goal is. Once you have gained weight and see what you look like, then re-evaluate. You may be surprised and not be as fat as you thought you would be.
Once you have proven to yourself you “can” get bigger you can begin to revise your diet to either stay that size or go up or down.

Muscle Heads to the rescue part II















In Muscle Head to the rescue part I, I talked about the eating issues in many female athletes. Earlier this year it was much media attention about eating disorders among many female top athletes. It’s been some months now, and what has become of this media attention? My answer is: NOTHING! Another political storm where nobody said anything... it went away. Unfortunately we are now starting another fall of training with no answers for these female athletes because of the political infighting and media tension regarding the Olympics.


In my opinion, this is why small business will become more involved in sports in Norway. Small businesses can react and get things done in a short period of time and make needed changes without a hundred meetings and political games.


With the help of Proteinfabrikken, AK-28 and Lund Treningssenter (TBI), the attached nutrition project was set up and finished in record time. The results showed that for 22kroner a day, female athlete could have a healthier life and more efficient sports career. See the attached report.

Back in action!















Beklager jeg ikke har skrevet på en stund, men som en typisk "musclehead" her i Norge, tar jeg ferie om sommeren. Det betyr ikke at jeg ikke har jobbet. Det nyeste som skjer nå er at småprogrammet på nettet blir mer og mer populært. HeiTV fra Bergen ønsket å lage et traningsprogram som vi kalte (selvfølgelig) "Muscle Coach". Muscle Heads to the Rescue















Dette må sies å ha vært en hard uke i forhold til ernærings kampen som har rast i media den siste tiden. Jørgen ble sparket, så ansatt igjen, det er jo helt sinnsykt hvordan politikken velger å løse spiseproblemer for våre unge aktive jenter. Tenk deg om dette var problemstillingen i ett sykehus eller pleiehjem. Regjeringen ville gått baserk! Politikere ville stått i kø for å hjelpe.. så hvor er de politikerene nå?

To my english readers this article is the second in a series about the issues of girl athletes that compete at the international levels and how their eating disorders have been covered up so they can compete. This trickle downs to ever girl in sports in Norway. This, combines with the pressures put on the girls by the social pressures of having to be skinny and wear certain clothes has created a national crisis.

The top sports organizations will not endorse the use of protein and other suppiments even though Norway has virtually the strictest regulations in the world on these products.

My feelings is simple. Girls cannot, in 2008 eat enough normal food to get the needed calories a day they need to be healthy and compete in sports. The simple answer is what "muscle heads" learned years ago. Eat the best you can and use protein powders and other suppliments to get the amount required daily.

We shall see if the powers to be give in. Until then lots of girls are asking for help!
